Quick tidbits. This contest is being held by a fellow blogger Mitch and Individ Clothing. The rules for such a thing can be found here. This contest should hopefully bring about some great footage.
Next point of business is a clip from my great friend Sean Colello. I haven't skated with the man in quite some time but I've been seeing him around from place to place. He's down with the Mustard movement. He's really good at skateboarding. Has some great pop and ill trick selection. He's also pretty damn chill. And funny. Anyways, enough praise. Peep game, lames!
What's up, world? Ok, this is a mini update because I didn't take that many pictures. Blame Luis for that, btw.
Chilled at the Mustard Lair aka Spanish's house with some of the squad. We put together some new boards and gave em some of our own graphics. Guess which one was serious?
some of the folks that arrived included:
and one of the Mustard CEO's.
After all this chillin, the next day consisted of shredding new parks. Like the one in Astoria, Queens. Shit was great. Peeps got scooped and then it was an adventure day after that.
Geoff starts his days right. Alan actually came out with us. Making the day better by a whole lot. Need Repping the G-Men and looking dumb is Luis in a nutshell. Sean's dad is in a band. They are The Beatz. Let's meet em!
Finally got into the city and what a gorgeous skatepark this was. It was so tight. I really liked it a lot and so did Beavers and Luis. Even G did.
Left there after a couple of hours. Met folks. Saw folks. The rest is nonsense.
Good news before I end this post. The "Team Mustard" stickers are officially in! I will be handing em out everywhere I go and putting em all over the place. If you see a mustard sticker somewhere and want one, take the picture and show me and maybe I'll send you some ;)
Till next time, you keep on keepin' on, world. Al is out!
Not only is this a new update, but I just applied a new layout to make this site look a little better. I'm gonna work on a new header when I get the chance and really make sure this website looks proper..
aNYways, the Team Mustard crew took a sweet trip to Philidelphia and it seemed to be pretty damn productive. Skated good spots, met cool people, drank beer that you can't get in Jersey conventionally, and almost got locked up. Sounds like a productive trip!
First off, everyone got scooped and we organized the van.
Then we stopped to get some eatery and dranks cuz we have to eat and drank. It'd be dumb to think we didn't need to eat and drank at 8 in the morning.
Fancy? Needle has a slight resemblance to that dude Abe Lincoln...you know...the guy on the 5 dollar bill.
After the food stops, time said to hit the turnpike and not look back. That's what we did.
This is not a joking matter. OBVIOUSLY.
Got to Philly fairly quickly and then we skated like mad men. Legit mad men. First spot was fun.
airwalking.
We left that spot after some hours and hit up a famous high school with tons to skate in it.
saw some cool bums sleepin'.
Next we hit up Temple University for it's many spots...
We left Temple after a little when it got a little whack. We hit up Drexel next to look for a crazy five block stair set.
Might've found some Mustard models for the future. Chicks were pretty cool. Or we can have this guy model...
We ended the day at LOVE park and almost all got tickets. Lucky for some but not for all. Other than the cops of the end of the day, it was a pretty great day in the city of brotherly love. We all had a blast. Philly gets mad...
Don't think I'll forget to mention that my boy Spanish finished the first promo for "Somethin' Light". This video is looking to be so tight. Good skating and great moments being captured. Watch out for it! Or if you can at least click below, you can watch the promo now. Have a great day, world.
